Nothing you've said isn't true, but when you have the Land Rover bug, you just can't shake it, there's just something about them you love, in spite of all the flaws and problems.

Hey Adam, I would do the mods myself as well. First of all it is cheaper and second I think it will be a better job as you can do exactly what you want to do i.e. the things that are important to you. Plus that doing that sort of work is actually quite a lot of fun if you are not in a hurry !!!

Looking good - mine got a wee work out on Tuesday, we were down doing some conservation work in rural perthshire where we were putting deer and hare protection on some rare mountain willow that grow up near the tops. Got a good way in with the Landy's and then it was the argo.

I was down at Challenger 4x4 the other day to get the brakes sorted and spent the next hour or so admiring this one that they're in the process off upgrading for a client... ...purchased brand new and then about £10ks worth of 'extras' in the form of bespoke roll cage etc. etc. etc. Apparently the guy just uses it as his 'shooting' car for ploughing around his estate. He's certainly got a good taste in toys. Life is what happens while youre making other plans. |
