Cheers chaps, Stan and Danny, no way was I missing this trip, been planning it for a couple of years now, there were several C2C routes we found but they had lots of road miles and very few lanes, we had three very full days with lots of great lanes, My hip is not too bad but my left knee is now much worse after doing all the exercises you have to do for the hip... sort of sods law... I'm grateful to several mates on the trip who not only put my boots on each day but kept me upright on uneven ground... all in all it was a good laugh watching me stumble all over the place, I looked half cut most of the time....!!!
