United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

On the L405 I was quoted around that for the fixed/detachable & £3k for the electric deployable Shocked as a retro fit

I made sure I found one with the deployable already fitted Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

A q5 has a bumper cut out ready with a panel to cover it. I think that there are some aftermarket bars which will fit in the ready made hole. Pfjones is your friend, looks like the detachable Bosal one doesn't need cuts...... Much less than £1100.... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Or we have a very nice new monsoon grey SQ5, well specced with extras, inc factory towbar sitting in the showroom just waiting for a new home................

Scary what the retro fit costs are - ordered from the factory its only about £700 and its a nifty folding job that you just pull a cord in the boot and it drop down.

We've now got the q5 so I need the towbar fitted. Bossal one plus electrics are about £320. How much would you's take to fit it ? Do you own a garage ?

Hi unfortunately no I dont - I'm just a part time driver for them. Our rates would just be main dealer prices.

As has been discussed before, I don't believe there is any TDV8 (no matter what's been done to it) that will come close to the performance (it would mean shaving 3.5 seconds (41%) off the 0-60 time of the standard TDV8) and handling of an SQ5.

It would worry me excessively adding performance to any car - I am no mechanic, but surely the manufacturer pairs power output to all the other ancillary's such as the turbo's, cooling, brakes, etc, etc

Surely adding power in this way puts additional strain (and perhaps premature failure) on these other area's and would almost certainly invalidate any warranty ??
