OK here is another odd one. Just filled washer fluid a couple of days ago. Hadn't used it. Warning washer fluid low. Looking for leaks I see at least 2 hoses are disconnected. The pump for the rear window had no hose on it but one flopping near it. Seems to go towards the fender well. The pump for the windshield has a hose that comes up about a foot and has no connection. It is held on to the breather hose. As best as I can see the pump for the Headlamps has a hose attached and it looks like it comes forward under the headlamp.

Thanks for the effort but no. I have RAVE too and the link for the parts listing but nothing shows the path the tubes go. Perhaps in the daylight it will be easier. No I stand corrected. Seeing the path around the tank may help. Gives me an idea about where to look. |

Look at the RAVE pic above, not the actual parts pics but the ghost of the RR front end. The rough path of the pipes are shown as black lines and looks about right from memory.

Thanks Weejock at first I thought the problem was just tubes that were off. I'm going to need to check the tank. Is it necessary to remove the tire as stated in the RAVE or can you work around it? |

If you put the suspension in off road mode and turn the wheel you can undo and pull out the end of the liner to get to the washer tank, it's obviously easier with the wheel off but doable with it in place. |

That worked OK. I didnt need to remove the tank but could have. Had to clean the pump motor seals because of a previous oil leak and set them in fully. Also spliced the fluid lines, repaired a hole in one and corrected the path. I don't think it is necessary to remove any of the screws beyond the center of the wheel back. FWIW those "plastic nuts" have a metal sleeve that rusts around a thin shaft and they snap off with about 8 ft pounds of torque. I'll drill them out another day. |
