Whatever you do DO NOT under any circumstances clear the gearbox adaptions !

Dealers were told originally that before the transmission control software was reflashed they must reset the adaptions first. Problems then sometimes occurred if the clutches slipped excessively while trying to re-learn the new settings, causing the clutches to be permanently damaged.
