Will need a service in a few weeks as last done Aug 2014. Nice bargaining tool. Looks tidy though. I don't dislike Tonga green.....

Hammer on weights are the wheel balancing weights you can see on the wheel, they have a steel fixing and a zinc weight, the steel and alloy wheel set up electrolysis and can rot out a hole in the wheel, they also damage the paint on removal...

Make sure steering wheel goes up and down and in and out. Can be expensive to fix.

Have a look at the area to the rear of the engine, ideally from underneath as well as from above, for blue/green residues of coolant which can be blown out due to cylinder head problems. That was what did for my 2004 car's engine, even though it sounded and ran fine. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

What year is the car ? - if it has "6A" in the VIN, it's an '06 model year. Definitely the petrol engine to go for as it is the Jaguar (not BMW) 4.4 V8 with 6 speed ZF gearbox. The post above does not refer to this engine which is very highly regarded.
