engine cover removal

Hi All,

I'm a newbie so please tell me if this topic has already been covered before

Would someone be able to help me and advise me on how to remove the engine cover on the Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 2008 please

Also is the oil filter located under the engine cover?

Thanks in advance

Simon

The engine cover lifts straight up, no bolts or screws, just clips onto some posts on the manifold.

The oil filter sits between the cylinder blocks under the plastic cover. You'll recognise it by the 36mm nut.
