what you have to consider jason is that you need to be in a location where the signal is strong to receive channels, weak signal will limit channels and those you do pick will suffer from breakup due to passing vehicles etc....
remember you only have window antennas and although the FF is taller than the average car , its not as tall as a house with an ariel on top of the chimney.. ...
also consider that the tv can only be used when stationary and in park and the FF's battery isnt that good so you might drain it.. ... - .- -.

does yours work fine then zirconblue? any issues? is it just a straight plug an play? do u get all channels etc?
thank in advance

It was pretty much plug and play yes, i did notice a setting in the IID tool to change the TV type, but i'm not sure what it did as it was working to start with.

As stan says you need a reasonably strong signal for it to be watchable, As soon as you select R or D the picture is obscured but you can still listen to the sound which worked quite well when i tested it the other day.

I don't think you get the radio channels like you do on a TV but i've not looked that far through the channels yet, i'd have to check.

Morning

If anybody is interested i have just removed my tuner from my 2005 touchscreen, 100% working.

Im chopping the car in against a newer model and i am looking to sell the tuner.

Regards

Paul

Yes Stan.

I installed it alongside the old one last year.

I have removed it and plugged the old one back in.
