Looking at a possible purchase. Is 68,000 miles too much for a 2012 Supercharged? Anything I should watch out for or ask the dealer to do before I do the deal? 2012 5.0L S/C

i've had my eye on that one for a while now...its very nice and if you do fairly low miles it wont be long before it gets to 'average' mileage... ... - .- -.

you need to look out for supercharger rattle as there is a bulletin for the rattle so it may be supercharger, either way its a 3 day job and needs LR sign off if the rattle doesnt go then it may mean supercharger on way out. But that has got to be quite a rattle, i had service bulletin on mine at 70k and new supercharger at 74k LR were brilliant and all done under warranty without quibble. i have had nothing but excellent service from LR but on my 8th RRFF all Supercharged AB's so i have spent a few quid. |

Worth noting that this Corrosion is chemical reaction and not rust and I have seen it only nearly ALL 2012+ cars I have stocked. LR should sort really as its a design fault but its a very easy fix to cut off the bottom 4 inches that corrode or replace the strips. |
