Probably. Not done a FFRR personally but I have done loads of others, all teh same principle really. See if you can get a service kit from ZF.

As far as I can tell you are referring to the inner track rod joint, as that is what is under the gaiter.

I would also suspect the inner track rod - the LHS one on mine went and it used to clunk noticeably

Check the rack securing bolts too... Have found a couple loose now which creates the most hideous knocking noise!

Given I don't have a torque wrench (must get one) I do a lot of "tightening from memory" .
