Lead is ok. I've done some tests with Pat from Gap and it's a faulty tool. He's swapping it for me. Thumbs Up

Your website makes a passing reference to the PC interface but no mention in the manual of how to actually use it. How do you do it?

Does anybody know if it's possible to upgrade / exchange to a BT version of the tool? I have the normal non bluetooth one currently but ideally want to change it. Is my only option to buy a new one?

Hi guys, just wanted to say what a great tool this is.
this is, my first diagnostic tool, never had one before.
quick question, as I have already used the tool on the interface, are my car settings stored on the tool, or do you have to physically get to a certain place to back it up, sorry if I sound a bit thick, but when I do have a play, I want to be sure my original settings are stored.

The first time you plugged your tool on it should have saved all your settings and asked you to name the file but you probably didn't 😉So in the menue Save/Restore settings it will be in the first file and you will have a choice to restore EAS or CCF . 2008 MY Supercharged

Greg, have a good play with it, with the engine on or your battery will go flat... it's amasing what it can do, worth going through all the live values and noting what they are, then gives you a base line if you have problems later...

Do a calibrate on the EAS "just because you can"......

Playing just get's you familiar with what it will do....

I got stuck in Manchester with a bust height sensor and it dropped to the bumpstop on one corner, whip the IID out and within 5 mins I've pumped air into that corner and deactivated the system, driven home with no issues and fixed the sensor a couple of days later.... No tool... you're on the back of a tow truck...... Thumbs Up

Also get rid of most of the annoying bongs and turn off cold bulb monitoring on most lights as when the bulbs get old they fail a cold test but still work.... Thumbs Up Pete

Cheers pete, can't wait to try it out on the bt when I get the I phone.
the adjustment of the eas on access mode was 40mm, it wouldn't go any further, so according to the iid tool, it started at 40mm and I pushed it as far as it would go down to 80mm in total. This was all 4 corners together.
must admit I enjoy the car even more now Very Happy knowing I've got the iid tool as security.
Thanks for the advice , hope you and axle have speedy recoveries.
Greg Thumbs Up
