Thanks that's great, have been looking at the 0803 ones on eBay, who is best to get one from as a lot seem to come from China, are they fakes? |

I got mine from eprance on amazon, have a look at the techmoan fella on youtube, has a good review on the 0801/0803. If it dont work.......burn it!

I have Blackvues in our cars - they've been great - record clearly even at night. GPS - and an application that runs the scrolling map as you play back the video

Ditto, blackvue sourced and fitted by www.dashwitness.com they do other models, front and rear facing, incorporating speed camera alerts etc. |

That's a fair comment. I did like the look of the Blackvue and seriously considered it. It's a nice compact unit and fits in well with any vehicle interior. It was something like 5 times the price of the Eprance, in most cases you get what you pay for. I thought I'd take a punt on the Eprance for £50, might even have been less than that. I thought well if it breaks after 6 months I might upgrade, but it's still going strong nearly 2 years later! Features and image quality seem as good as the Blackvue, going by the videos posted online.

i thought about buying a blackvue but decided against because of the cost so i got a 0801 for £30 and this dashcam produces adequate video (as seen on the forum) ... - .- -.

I have fitted the Engineers Vans with the 801/804 type with GPS about £40 each. They work very well.
