Anyone using a discreet dash cam, maybe something that sits behind the mirror so its not so visible and nickable . Ive got a gopro which I use on the bike but its too good to leave perm in the rangie

Dash cams are so cheap nowadays do you think they are really likely to be stolen?
In saying that, scum will steal anything. I don't see any need to spend more than £40 on a dash cam tho'.. Previously..

Thanks Stan Thumbs Up

You pays your money you takes your choise on cameras, my mini 0801 has been fault less since the update firmware on it ( all in the above link) I have a cheaper rear camera which 'does' the job form but it no where near as good for quality video as the front.

The mini 0801 has been superseded now t the 0803 and newest 0806. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

I have the mini 806 with GPS etc... Seems to do everything and is hidden behind the rear view mirror on the passenger side. Forget it is there apart from a bell when I turn on and off or if I hit a big bump. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

I've been using the Transcend 16GB DrivePro 200 Car Video Recorder with Built-In Wi-Fi for the a while and very happy with it. We just never know these days and lets face it our driving has to be spot on there's LOTS of other motorists out there that don't like FFRR Thumbs Up

Stan - you really need a different play list or CD when you're driving mate (but the dash cam records it well!) Rolling with laughter

Seriously though - I have the 0803 and it is great. my only bug bear is the blue led at night... anyone found a way to turn the light off..? Ash

@ Ash, in my original video ,it was recording 'happy' from the radio and youtube told me it was a copyright infringement so i replaced it with stock music from youtube..

@DrRob, i actually did put tape over the light but in the end took it off.... ... - .- -.
