Ox is used in Land-Rover build specs and parts catalogues as short for Oxford. It's the design of the seat covers, stitching, pleats and i think the hide is a slightly better grade. |

Its either Oxford or Bleheim leather. Oxford (or Ox) is a much better quality seat. more bolstered and numerous pleats mean it looks significantly better. Blenheim is base model seat (normally HSE's) and has a single central pleats. Looks a bit plain. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

The drivers seat base got incredibly hot to the touch enough to almost burn the underside of your legs. I assumed the thermostat had broken so did not use the function. When I tried it recently it cuts out after a couple of seconds, so now the safety function has kicked in.

Don’t know how much has been covered on here about seat heaters but i have posted some pics of customers seats ready to catch fire! The internal foam is black & charred! I get to see them when the leather gets a small dis coloured mark on it! (usually down to the heater burning underneath)

The leather could do with changing anyway, the over heating issue is on side where the right leg rests near the door and might have worn out due to lots of getting in and out of the car. The back heating element seemed to work fine before it tripped the system.
