Timed Climate - Enable .. able?

As some will know, timed climate (+remote) is a £1000+ option on the current L405.

I know that the Timed Climate can be enabled on the CCF if you have the SDV8 (as a fuel burning heater is equipped). This can be tested/confirmed by using the 'rest heat' function on shutdown of engine (according to manual only available if auxiliary heater is fitted).

Disco 4 owners can activate TC and order the remote + receiver for about £50.00. Although it is the old MOST system but same new software group.

Anyone brave enough to try on the L405?

I don't think it's that simple on the L405 I'm afraid. Land Rover aren't going to make things that easy.

I didn't think it was an option on the L405? Certainly was standard on mine and I've used it. Much better than the L322 version.

Don't tell me that after I sold my IID tool as I though there were no L405 functions I wanted Big Cry

If there is an option in the CCF to enable it, and all the required hardware is present and correct, then no reason why it can't be enabled

And if the option is not yet available in the CCF, I am sure it won't take GAP long to add it in Thumbs Up
