United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black
Front grill

After buying a 06-09 "l405 style" grill from powerful earlier in the year it stayed on the car for about 2 months then has sat in the corner of the study for a fair while now. I have compared it to the gen sc grill which is on and the surround is lighter which may be part of the problem, so it getting painted.

I have dusted it over with Brunel and that already is an improvement, but I'm thinking to do the centre silver section a darker colour. Does anyone know any good rattle can colours in a metallic dark grey which would work well? don't really want black, so am going very dark metallic grey, with Brunel surround, with the centre lacquered to give it a bit of a sheen.

2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I had the dark/light dilema on my recent 2010 conversion. I have gone for a stornoway surround with silver insert, to match the badgework mainly. I do think at some point I may go Brunel or darker as it does look good. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Who did you conversion n1cktdv8?

Am pondering it myself, as i like the idea of updating the car, but am torn with that or a 4.4.

This will do until I make my mind up. It is a much better colour scheme than how powerfulUK sell them, although my painting isn't the best close up..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

looks good i wonder if darkening the headlights would make it look more convincing something like flyeye tint etc

I would really like todo the conversion on mine, facelift looks sooooo good on bucks blue but its just too much money to spend on cosmetic improvements to an already great looking car that lets face it only RR fans like us are really going to notice the difference. Saying that it does seem to boost the resale value quite a bit so i suppose if you diy it you may possibly get your money back ? I usually don't keep my cars long enough for it to make sense personally i would put my money to a newer updated model.

Out of interest if anyone has done it diy whats the cost roughly ? Although I'm not really sure if i want to know the answer to that....... Range Rover Vogue 2006 4.4 AJV8 | Buckingham Blue | Parchment Leather | Supercharged Grill+Side Vents | CA02 HEY ( NOT 02 PLATE )
