i'm sure someone else had a similar problem and the craig-meister said something like put a screwdriver in the lock to click the latch down/up...

had a look at that post Stan but the door opens fine from inside and out its the locking thats the issue

could someone check if your car does this when you try to lock it with the drivers door open. I'm now beginning to think it might be a safety thing so you don't lock the keys inside. I hadn't but I have now. That is exactly what mine in doing if I lock the doors with the drivers door open. As I say I then locked it with the drivers door closed and everything worked as it should. To date I've not had any trouble with the doors locking so reckon the bouncing lock button is normal for whatever reason. |
