Nick, the C-Tek charger is indeed a good idea in any FFRR especially if not used on a daily basis

I use a Ctek 5 as like the 7 has the pulse charge function. I purchased an extension lead which is permanently fitted to the batt terminals and (being 2m long) can simply be attached to the Ctek in the garage. Bonnet can also be locked back shut again.

Used c teks for ages on classics and on the FF, saves a lot of batteries and car is always ready to go ( if you don't forget to take them out and drive along with the cables hanging out of the car.... ) |

I use a Ring Automotive RSP600 Solar Maintainer (6A), which I bought for about £40 from amazing co uk, plugged into the front or boot cigar lighter socket (which are live all the time). It seems to keep my FF battery in a very healthy charge state.

May one ask WHY you haven't used yours for 11days, Stan? Oh ... it's a petrol. That's why - you can't afford it! It's "bébéchoon", ackcherly, with accents. 'Steve' to my chums.
