I actually bought the metal to make these about a year ago but havent been fit enough to crawl about under the FF, still waiting for the other new hip and then a knee!! Anyway thats my excuse

They look far better than any set of sidesteps and have the added benefit of providing increased side protection.

Ah, but, it will still come off at the first stump or rock that you find, and then you'll be back to the silver! Give it a couple of outings under water and they will soon dull down to a nice silver grey, that shouldn't take you long to achieve

Pete some good lanes there pall, Llangollen one is a good one I will dig some grid refs out tomorrow for you, you might be able to do on route. If the one im thinking of at Ysbyty Ifan ( V gully lane) the gate/ stone wall is very very tight, I think I have a picture on a 90 going through, will check pictures tomorrow also. If it dont work.......burn it!

Yeah, it's the V gulley, not as bad these days as it was years ago, and not as tight....

Thanks for the offer of the grids.... we try to change the route every time we go, routes sorted for this weekend but I'm pretty sure we've done about every lane that's open over the years.... Pete
