Anybody that likes a clean car and has to leave it outside (or inside) may want one of these:

We have a breathable fitted cover for when our E55 sits outside unused -currently two weeks whilst my 110 gets driven -and I can't fault it.

We are based in a wooded Valley and such a cover(s) would come in useful for nicely prepared Range Rovers... |

Dust doesnt even need to get under for covers no matter how soft to start wearing paint surfaces away. Something rubbing continuously on a painted surface will cause damage.

I Have had a car cover on the Lotus Carlton for the last 3 years, the biggest problem i had was wind getting under the cover and blowing it off (ripping off the teathering straps). Ended up with 6 cargo starps holding it down.No problem with the paint rubbing as the cover didn't move 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

Car covers get discussed a bit over on the cobra forum as they tend to be spend longer under covers than more practical cars. There have been a couple of isolated instances where they've even lifted off the paint, so most tend to avoid them.

I had one of their 'Storm Force' Covers for my supra TT after I had it sprayed. It fitted perfectly and has 4 layers, with a soft inner layer. they also have a strap underneath and elastic corners to stop the cover flapping about. It's breathable too. I left my car for a couple fo months at a time and it was always prestine when I uncovered it. Well worth the money IMO! Cheers, Paul. |

I dug up this old post as I'm planning to get one for my 5.0. When we travel out here (like last 4 day weekend) the car is sitting in a car park in the blazing sun and I'm hoping that a cover will reduce the heat in the car a bit and also protect everything a bit (amongst other hoping it won't attract too much attention as being a Range Rover as they are very rare here).

Not yet mate but things are happening that could make it a reality soon and before it ships, I want to fill the trunk with some goodies (and put a cover over the car in the container ). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
