Car went to shop and this time the service manager and mechanic both heard the clattering. When the chain tensioned update kit was installed, upon reassembly, all the pulley wheels are "weighted" and have to be perfectly

You mean 'replace' a leaky valve cover gasket i hope?! ![]() Although i suppose there are some garages who would install and old leaky one for you to get more work next time. ![]() |

Yup, I had this fix done to mine while it was under warranty, don't ask to see the car mid way through the job, it will give you a heart attack! Discovery 4 HSE

Yes, replace valve cover gasket. Thank God its still under warranty. They said supercharger comes a part to install. I'm now considering buying the "extended Warranty". $4,200 for 4 years or 48k miles. |
