Well, finally managed to fix this, only solution was to hold the key against my chin whilst programming. now both keys are working but the only way I can get the car to unlock is stand by the rear 1/4 panel with key pressed to my chin, not sure why the signal seems so poor now, new batteries in both keys! 2004 4.4 Autobiography - gone

Sounds like you have a reception problem, I'd be inclined to look at the connections to the locking receiver antenna / amplifier. |

Is the battery in the remote nearly dead? May be worth a change - if it was on the way out before you left it for 2 months it might be ? Apologies for the obvious post but sometimes we look past the easy stuff |

I have a similar issue buttons on the keys do nothing so wont even let me do the reset on them ! been having problems locking and unlocking for a while but now nothing . Can anyone tell me where the locking antenna is on a 2004 FF please or any other help would be great. New battery on the car and in the keys ! Cheers |
