Wife and eldest daughter have just came in and told me they have booked for Disneyland Florida for £21k ( Family of 5 ) .... F k me , probably some of you guys have paid more but FFS ... how do they justify it ....

Me and SWMBO go every year to Barbados, sometimes Upper Class flights, always the same little (expensive) boutique hotel but I'm sure it doesn't cost that per person. But I don't get those sort of surprises as I book ALL the holidays and it's a long time since we stopped in Disney hotels, breakfast with the characters and all that but it's still an alligator swamp in Florida.

Yes, use the 'revenge purchase ploy'. Although it did backfire when I bought the Mini in 2002. Mrs bought a new kitchen that cost more than the £17k I paid for the car.
