Knakered Radio

Got a 2005 range rover with touch screen nav harman/kardon

The head unit won't turn on, just flashing red light on the power button. Has the land rover screen on but won't do anything

any ideas?

Also blower fans won't work I'm assuming its the hedgehog resistor gone?

Thanks

Probably the Bluetooth module has water in it? The left side of the boot leaks and if one unit on the M-O-S-T ring stops working then your symptoms are what are usually reported sir...

First things first sir...You need to work out which component in the M-O-S-T ring has failed! I mentioned the BT module as its on the top of the stack and most common for water ingress failure, but you say yours is dry... Rolling Eyes

I would check all the fuses first, make sure that they're not blown and that they work (i.e. test the fuses on a multimeter).
If they are all good, then test each unit on the MOST ring by looking for the light from the fibre optic cable coming from the connector when unplugged from each unit.

Always best to be methodical with the Entertainment system. Thumbs Up

I pulled the plugs out of the Bluetooth and it seems there is some water ingress in there, as some holes/pins are white and corroded

As the Bluetooth Is crap is there a way to bypass it?

ThANKS
