All you need is the ID and thickness of teh o ring - you will get one from any engineering supplies company. |

Based on a bit of internet research, I would suggest Nitrile over Viton. Nitrile has the lower heat range (up to 120 C) but better resistance to engine coolant fluids than Viton. Close finish though, Viton will probably also do fine. Buy one of both and if the Nitrile fails, switch to the Viton would be my solution MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

All done. The old o ring was completely shot: damaged from having stuck to the aluminium casting and misshapen from age and heat.
