'The car does have some outstanding finance to its name but I have spoken with the finance company which has allowed me to sell the car privately. therefore, the buyer of the car can pay the finance company directly with a bank transfer and the car will be HPI clear and the remainder can be paid as cash on collection or a bank transfer to myself.'

Paying off the finance company directly and giving the balance (if there is any) to the seller is totally normal practice. WBAC and WWAC etc. do this on almost all of the the newer vehicles they purchase. Much better this way than asking the seller to pay the finance off for you!

Yep agree with Skot - perfectly acceptable practice - just be careful and sensible about how you do it if anyone is planning on buying a car this way. - don't do it until you are actually with the car and the seller and have spoken to the finance company yourself to get a settlement figure directly from them - you may need the seller present to confirm his details due to data protection.

It's not anywhere close to being immaculate. Scratched bumper, gouged actually, swirly paint, kerbed rims. No shots of the interior bar that one blurred photo so probably not "immaculate".
