Apologies if this has been covered but I couldn't find anything

Can I ask, what are the differences between the MY10 and MY11 cars? I know the major change for the Diesel is the 8 Speed box and 4.4 litre engine (which apparently is well worth it) so my search has been focused on finding a 4.4 TDV8

Then I saw a 2009/2010 5.0 SC at a main dealer for around 30% less. (AU$80k for a 2009 SC vs around $120k for a 2011/2 TDV8)

So I guess my question is, apart from the engines,If there were no real major changes apart from main benefit being the Diesel engines and 8 speed box it might it make Sense for me to go for a 2009 SC?

You might find minor interior differences such as later cars had the word Range Rover inset in the door pull wood, grille surrounds and headlights got changed a little, there's no gear lever in the 4.4 TDV8 obviously and you might notice rear head rests were changed. Discovery 4 HSE

All those (to me) are minor changes I think I could live with.

So I guess if the price is right I may go for a 2007-2010 5.0 SC as opposed to a 2011/2012 TDV8 as originally planned, seeing as the only benefit (to me) for the latter would be the 4.4 and 8

You won't regret getting a 5.0 SC my friend you WON'T  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

JKay I think I've just seen the same vehicle online. Is it a white Autobiography?? Looks the bomb mate. If I weren't located on the west coast, I'd be taking a look at that one for sure. Im with ebajema! Go for it!

I was about to make arrangements to go see the car but work has called and I had to fly away (work on a remote site near the WA/NT Border) so that's been put on hold.

I'm sure you know this but the 5.0 SC only came in 2009 onwards. Previous to this it was the 4.2SC but it's easily spotted from the 2010MY facelift, and the HUGE amount of extra fun!  Discovery 4 HSE

RRUK thanks for pointing that out. For Some reason I typed 2007-2010 and didn't realise lol. But yes 2009 on 5.0 SC or 2011 on 4.4 TDV8 will be my Choice, depending on what comes
