It should be relatively easy to test by pulling the fuse(s) of the Audio system and then driving it for a bit ?? Or maybe even switch off the Assist bit using the Testbook, I'm assuming / expecting that that is possible. Well unless they find the actual rattle and sort it out once and for all MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Holy smoke. This is really bad. I wonder if they are even talking to the UK JLR main service department ?? If this is a known problem that would be the place to go and not trying to trial and error it yourself in the US. Do you know whether they actually asked for support/advice from the UK ?? Back to update on the rattle. I'll link the video of when it first started just in case someone has the same problem and they can hear the sound and read what the latest diagnosis is.

767 miles is ridiculous, I'd be drafting something very strongly-worded to LR North America. |

Interestingly Conversation Assist creates some very odd noises through the speaker system on my 1700W system too. Have you tried switching the feature off completely on the touch screen? |

Yes, they did press the "off" switch to test, but due to phone, voice commands, warning beeps, navi voice, etc. the audio system is never truly OFF. They said it was one of the harder problems they have had to diagnose in a long time. It really sounded like something mechanical ... it was in the end, but amplified by the microphone over the speakers. 2015 RR ATB (Scotia Grey w/Cirrus-Ebony) 2014 MB E63 s/AMG 2010 Acura MDX |

Thanks for asking. We have all been sick here at home and I'm still taking antibiotics, so haven't done much driving the last 2 weeks.
