Juddering / Smoking / Engine Problem

Car has developed a problem after I probably drove it harder than normal.

Juddering at around 2 - 2.5K
Difficult to start when cold with Diesel Knock.

Garage expected injector fault - but the fault moves around from injector to injector.

They've mentioned loom and ECU as maybe's. Trying to get some ideas and worst cases on cost......

No reply, but just in case anyone looks this is what a diesel engine does with petrol in it apparently.

My first thought would have been fuel pump but petrol in a diesel (apart from small amount in winter) is not a good thing. Own fault or did someone else fill it up ?? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

The wife.

Fortunately we were planning ahead and filling up early so it would have been a 50/50 mix. Specialist say's it's running fine although might bring an early injector failure on....

And it didn't run on the mix for too long I guess. Lets hope the adverse effects are very limited. Glad it is sorted though Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Does the TD6 not have the yellow flap thing to stop you putting petrol in it? 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

Not having done it myself I don't know - but would assume not. I am surprised as it's bloody hard work to get the diesel nozzle in and always assumed that there was some anti-misfuel device in place.
