Hi all, as above, the passenger side door will not lock with the remote but if i push the button down from inside the car it will unlock with the remote, my wife keeps opening the door before i have a chance to open with the remote and so activates the alarm, l have been instructed to "get it fixed" any ideas or is it a removal of the door card?

You need to replace the latch assembly sir, the C/L motor is part of the latch and when they fail you loose one function at a time...

My advice is to replace it ASAP as we have had them completely fail in the closed deadlocked position You then mood to cut the door open to gain access!

Door card off, remove 3 torx bolt fixings, unplug the elec plug, slide it out and the opposite to refit!

Its really quite simple and straight forward. A simple enough DIY job if a little fiddly!

The importance is on time, as to limit the risk of it failing completely in the deadlocked position sir
