I'm picking up a new diesel L405 in the next few days. How, if at all, are owners alerted to fixes like this and how would I know if this fix had been applied?

Some problems will get sorted when you have the car serviced. Recently discovered problems might be sorted before you take delivery of the car during the pre-delivery inspection.

Interestingly, my 15.5MY is not part of the campaign but I still get a diesel smell... |

Haven't we got a 'guy on the inside' who can let us know when these fixes are released? |

Unless I've missed something, you need to register for topix to view this stuff and I'm not in the biz. |
