Sorry i didnot mention car is l322 04.Can i use the bmw loom or i have to buy tel wiring loom for the l322 and make the necessary repinning???

The plug in the boot needs to be repinned. I wouldn't take the chance of plugging the BMW loom into it just in case. |

The voice loom was a separate option on the rr, but was integrated into the ULF on later bmws, so you don't want an RR telephone loom. If your ulf says "mit ses" on it then it will do voice commands over the normal telephone loom.

mjdronfield hi again from an internet search it seems,accg to diagnosticrepair.blogspot.com which redirects to bmwtips.com, that the bmw x400 connector has the exact same wiring with RR as per the attached.Whenever u have time can u please have a look and let me know. |

Pin 17 is the voltage feed. That is where it needs to be for the ULF, so have a meter on pin 17 and pin 36 and you should have a 12 volt feed. (or thereabouts).

Mjdronfield GOOD DAY.Not any further need about bmw wiring since yday i decided to look for the x400 connector and much to my surprise i saw that car is already prewired.So what i will only need is either to repin 54 connector or much better for me to buy an adaptor. Any idea where can i find/buy such an adaptor???
