Ok so I know its hardly a massive issue, but I was a little grumpy that having eventually got the rear wiper and washer working and not leaking, the washer wouldn't stay primed, so I bought a new Land Rover one-way valve for £7.99

Hi, it is a direct replacement for the original one-way valve located a couple of inches from the wiper motor in the water supply hose. You need to remove the interior cover for the wiper motor to get access (see the wiki). The new unit looks like this once installed.

Would have thought swapping the OEM valve ( in line just before the wiper motor) would have been the right place.
