Just a word of warning, never ever fit mushroom tops to door pins - it makes it dead easy to break in using just a simple piece of wire or a double band of packing case banding pushed between the door and the seal - literally 5 seconds to open the door - unless you deadlock every time you leave the vehicle. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Just a word of warning ...

+1 - I used to carry a piece of said plastic tape in my cap during the 80's/90's for that very purpose (to help drivers who had locked their keys inside, I hasten to add!) in a previous life. 😉

Don't they deadlock every time you lock them using the remote? Whistle

Thought the pins were pretty much redundant these days Neutral

No they don't Craig - some MY's deadlock on the 1st press of the button, the later ones don't and require two presses to deadlock and engage the interior sensors. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
