Westfailia Tow Bar

A mate of mine witH another body shop has just asked if i want a tow bar armature and detachable hitch with key and case. but no electrics. £100 YES PLEASE LOL.
Just need electrics now and decide if i will fit it or just get it fitted by auto tow.
How long and hard are they to fit guys, COULD I FIT IT AND DO ELECTRICS LATER OR WOULD THAT JUST BE MORE WORK.
Looked in WIKI But no images on now

I have just replaced the electrics on mine to change from 7 pin to 13 pin following a problem. It's plug and play but took me a bit longer than the quoted 10 mins as you have to remove the trims in the boot to unclip the existing wiring loom which plugs into the right hand side. The hardest part was getting the grommet in the hole in the bodywork but it is a relatively easy job and the good thing about the RR is all the panels come off easily.

I have a dedicated LR loom for 13 pin and it wasn't that much fitted? Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

I fitted the armature on mine last weekend. Quite a straightforward job though a fair bit to remove. Worse part I found was gently uncoiling the bumper at the sides. Electrics were easy to do just plug in to existing plugs. If you need any advice feel free to ask whilst fresh in my mind Thumbs Up

Have a look at pf Jones, I got the 13 pin electrics with 7 pin adapter, plug and play. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!
