Hi Folks - Just been told that to do an oil change on my 2010 MY the oil needs to be sucked out rather than warmed up and left to drain (like the good old days.!) Is that really the case?

LR MD's only ever suck the oils out of 09> 322's as there is no access to the drain in the sump... 3.6's & 4.4's |

I've been a sucker for many years and the oil is very clean. Even on a diesel, the oil is still golden in colour after 1000 miles if you get all of it out.
