Hi Edfors,

The grids at the sides of the pit in the test station....these are to drain away water, snow and slush etc from the vehicle bodywork, tyres etc? 2008 Range Rover TDV8 435,000kms

Right, the grid floor is there to take care of water, snow, slush or mud Thumbs Up

It happens people come with too muddy or snowy cars and are rejected Surprised

I've grown to love the look of the D3 wheels on the Range. What tires do you have planned for the 20" ?

Tyres, I need to have at least two sets. For my Discovery's I have at least 3 sets for each, at last count it was 40+ wheels Whistle

But for EDF I initially aim for two sets, one for winter and one for summer. As for winters I bought the best option available back in November.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 SUV.

The size closest to original I could find was 265/50/20.

So, bought these but they never got mounted Embarassed
Will be for next season 15/16 Whistle

So now I keep on running on a Disco 3 19" set. Until I've decided on summers. The candidates are as follows.

The new General Grabber AT 255/55/20, whenever it becomes available?

Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/45/20 (thinking 275/55/20 might be too big for my likings).

Good Year Wrangler Duratrac 255/55/19. I do have the MTR version on one of the Disco's but since this is no longer available I have Duratrac as an option, but this will involve getting a genuine set of 19" alloys, no, think I stick with the Autobiography 20" wheels, I like the clean straight look of these. But then I should get another set Thumbs Up

[WANTED] a set of four 20" AB wheels. Smile

Not much to report on for EDF lately, just drives along as it should. But we did have a small easter weekend getaway and made use of the last snow.

Me and three kids took four days with our snowmobiles in the Swedish mountains.

Lovely sunny wheater all days.

Really hard to see distances and heights on a photo, but it's some 120 kms to the peaks in the far distance.

To say we had a good time is an understatement. Really fun to drive with the kids, really enjoying the two oldest now having their own snowmobile drivers licences.

Oh, and then this past weekend EDF showed off how excellent a L322 is to pull a horse box. Even SWMBO have start talking about a B+E category now Thumbs Up

Wow, Chef, that's some serious rubber! Let me know your verdict for them when you've got a few weeks on them.

Regardiing the FH, it's a FH13 500. But I wrote 'new' but in fact it's already been replaced with a brand new FH13 460, now with air suspension all round and loads more gizmos and buttons to play with.

And most importantly, it's a better match with EDF when having the bright grille Thumbs Up
