no, you will have to fit on FF and drive for at least 15 minutes......saying that , LR diagnostics can re-programme the sensor while its in the spare, but that will cost.. ... - .- -.

We seemed to have solved the problem. Local indie found spare wheel sensor and / or aerial giving error. From Stans post and other research I'd done I dediced it could be the TPM module in the boot as that also acts as the aerial for the boot. We fitted a borrowed module and problem went away. Now nearly £100 lighter after buying a new one. Fingers crossed........ |

Are you sure ? I agree that TPMS isn't a requirement on a pre-2012 car. However, I thought if it was fitted, then it has to work - any warning lights are an MOT fail for all cars. |

I thought that any options fitted had to work - including towing sockets and the like.
That's what I was told by my MOT tester - but he could have been wrong..... |

I seriously wouldn't fork out any more money on new valves.

I fitted a TPMS system to my ffrr, I'm really happy with it , but it's not a L/R product Mine has a display that constantly shows the Tyre pressure and the temperature, and goes nuts and starts flashing and bleeping if the pressures drop or the tyre gets too hot (getting ready to go pop ). It does have the in wheel monitors, as opposed to the cap type, which I was told can't handle pressures over 30 psi. So they would have been on good for me as the rears are run at 45 psi ( needs to be for towing very heavy trailers, that have large tanks with liquid slopping about in them ).

Hello,I'm waiting for the final confirmation that I can cancel the TPMS warnings with the IID BT Tool number DA6412 (britpart) to buy in England and I send him to Spain.
