Where the codes cleared/reset after the new brake light switch was fitted?

I think there may be a big hint in your last post, what year 'upgrade' lights are they, if they're LED light units, then do they possibly not need the extra wiring bits to make them work properly? If that's not been done, then that could be the root cause of the problem.

No worries Dazzler, was just thinking that there was a post in the link mentioning HDC/ABS/Air Susp Inactive warnings coming up if the ballast resistors, extra wiring boxes, etc., weren't fitted. Thought that there might be a fault with a resistor or possibly the wiring which may be the culprit, especially if the lights have been in for 6 years plus. |
