I had the interior roof lining replaced in the car. When the car came back, the courtesy lights started to play up. When I lock the doors with the remote, the lights start to dim but immediately powers back on! Usually the lights will just fade away.

I understand that holding the switch in turns them off, and again for manual on.

I think what he had done is put your rear light in the front & visa versa... Although both interior lights appear to be identical they are NOT sir... The circuit boards have different hardware/software so behave differently if accidentally plugged back in the wrong way around...

If it weren't for this forum and the great contributors who help resolve many of the problems, I wouldn't contemplate running a RR out of manufacturers warranty |
