I normally buy on condition/FSH, over mileage.... I recently sold my Jaguar S-Type to a chap who had viewed 20 other Jaguar's but bought mine on the spot, no haggling on price etc. as it was by far the best car he had viewed. It was above "book price", but I ensure my cars are serviced properly at a Dealer/Specialist for the Marque.... I also have a keen interest in "Detailing" so my cars are always well maintained looks wise too.... ![]() |

Exactly (pretty much to the £) the dilemma i went through Recently. Currently looking for a 2005 Facelift. Or maybe an early 2006 as long as it;s before the huge tax cut off. |

Aarrgh... you've got me extending the "max price" option on Autotrader.. Looking at 26k for a very leggy one though. I guess 30k is more like it for a reasonable one?. I just can;t justify it, especially considering my budget when i decided to get a new car was 10k, then went up to 15k when i saw a nice Audi i liked. Now it;s 20k for a FFRR, and having to explain why i've decided not to replace the bathroom, and have instead used the left over kitchen lino to replace the floor., much to the disgust of SWMBO ![]() |
