No "DSP" indication on screen means no sound. If the connectors on the top of the unit are all sound I'd be inclined to have a ratch around in the bottom of the compartment to see if any plugs / sockets are disconnected. From memory there is a plug / socket pair that allows for a telephone switcher to be installed which need to be connected together if no switcher is installed.
Otherwise I would check to see if all obvious plugs are connected.
There is fuse on the top of the radio tuner located below the large connector plug which might be worth looking at.
You could try removing the satnav unit and disconnecting the plugs to check for corrosion in the plugs / sockets.
The chances are your tv tuner won't work, it's probably an analogue unit as was originally installed.

I had the same issue . I had blue pins on most of the connectors . power pin broken on the dsp and a furry pcb inside the sat nav. I cleaned all the connections and board and the sat nav came back but would freeze now and again. I have now dumped the dsp and chopped the plugs and wired it in direct to a small amp for now .

do you get the orange light on the left button as that should indicate the radio is working

So I pulled off all the plugs and pushed them all back together still no joy. All fuses are fine ive tried to check about the phone cables had a 2 cable like a purple pink connector lose. Only bit of corrosion I got was with the big black plug with the 10amp fuse in it (box infront of the tv box) was a bit.
As for the Orange light still nothing but I have noticed that the eject button remains lit even after a day with it locked up the eject button is still which can't be right??
Anyone know if that's right?

Box you are talking about with the corrosion is the radio...

The light on the satnav box should stay on for 16mins after you lock the car, it will come on if you open the boot, so to check you have to leave the side panel in the boot open and look through the window, without unlocking the car or opening a door..

Get an Android unit and be done with the complicated, troublesome piece of BMW!!!! Pete

Yes that's the ne the radio one.
Nope the day sat nav eject light was still after 6hours hence it drained the battery disconnected that now orange eject light off.
I am thinking about the android unit just wanna see what's wrong with this then I feel abit better lol.

Is there anyway of testing to see what power I should have to each unit??
