When we got EDF it had a damage on the passenger sun visor.

So I had to replace this, just fixed with four torx 20 screws.

Thanks all for the positive comments. Here comes a step back in time, my first close encounter of the L322 Cool

As owner of the FFRR at the time my brother and I was invited to the first official presentation and test drive of "New Range Rover" at the launch of L322 in Sweden. This was in May 6th, 2002.

The event started at Sparreholms Slott, an castle about an hour south of Stockholm with history from the 16th century.

From there we split up with two guests and one sales guy 'instructor' in each Range Rover.

An off-road area was available for testing.

Very shiny and all new shape Range Rover, just love those fatty wheels Thumbs Up

Plenty of opportunity to get all four wheels spinning.

My brother, aka #141, thinking about how it would be to take the step up from P38 to L322 Very Happy

An impression of the new RR that lasted and confirmed both of us would continue as LR owners for a long time Cool

After lunch we continued the test drive. This is my brother, who had the L322 completely airborne on a speedy and bumpy road!

A classic LR (off-)road sign.

Never really liked this early beemer design, think the first facelift was a big improvement.

He look serious

A field was available for more testing in the right habitat.

It did well, just as in front of the castle Cool

I remember the seats and interior gave a very good impression, but then it was 13 years ago!

Love the colors and piping.

Now it starts look like we've tested it properly.

Returned to the starting point.

We where definately impressed and satisfied with a free day with the latest and greatest from LR!

Thinking of, how long will it take until I have one of these :wink1:

Very nice pictures of the L322 presentation (and all the rest of course).

Back in the day we were also invited to the presentation in Madrid, sadly I did not take any photographs. The venue was also a castle around 60 km outside of Madrid (Castillo de Viñuelas). During that time I was around 16 and missed school for that special day Very Happy really enjoyed and even got to drive a bit!

My mom and I got picked up at home by a brand new L322 with driver. They also arranged for us to fly with a helicopter from near our home (with some other guests) to the venue, an experience I will never forget.

Thanks for the pictures! Nice work!
