The solenoid valve at the vaporiser will likely be gummed up and stuck - it get's sticky with the LPG residue and needs cleaned.

They have a computer control for them, if you can't find the fault then get it code read by an LPG installer, should tell you whats wrong... also, check you didn't disturb anything when changing the filter... Pete

I was thinking to try disconnecting the battery for 30 mins or so to reset the ecu - is this worth a try or will it wipe all the settings off the LPG ecu and cause more potential problems? 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 v8 LPG, Java Black, 22' Hawke Alloys, Black Beast |

You can't wipe the LPG ECU by disconnecting the battery...

Have you checked your coolant level ? If t's low then the vaporiser will not get warm enough to unfreeze the gas . |

Hi yes that was one of the first things I checked, coolant level was fine. I'm taking the car in to Save LPG in birmingham tommorow to hopefully get to the bottom of this. 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 v8 LPG, Java Black, 22' Hawke Alloys, Black Beast |

Hi quick update took the car to Save LPG Ltd in Birmingham today, the fault code was showing as no pressure and it turned out to be a blocked valve at the back near the tank. Good call CG-SC you were right but it wasn't the valve near the vaporiser. The valve was removed and replaced with one that is thinner and less likely to get blocked with 'dirty' gas. Cheap straightforward fix in the end, recommend Save LPG guys to anyone in the midlands they know their stuff and offer good value service. 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 v8 LPG, Java Black, 22' Hawke Alloys, Black Beast |

Glad you got it fixed, I was fairly sure from your symptoms that it would be a stuck solenoid - it is usuallt the one at the vaporiser that gives issues - if it happens again I'd look there......fingers crossed all will be gine though Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather..... |
