My garage door is standard height with an electric opener but the full fat won't quite fit. The door itself is tall enough but the curved metal thingy restricts the height by a few vital centimetres. Has anyone made or bought one that fits flush to the door?

I have a roll door on both of my double garages and it leaves the entire opening clear - works a treat. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

Wish I knew what a "curved metal thingy" is.

I think he means the curved arm that goes from the track to the top of the door pulling it along , its curved to give the correct angle of push to shut the door . I suppose you could experiment with some drilled bracket bar stuff . 2008 MY Supercharged

Having researched this myself...AFAIK the canopy door arm adapter will always hang down a fair bit, otherwise the angles needed to allow for the downward push / pull forces would be too large and break easily

Thanks guys, yes it is picture two on the eBay link that I'm talking about. I'm sure my 2007 used to go all the way down, but still didn't fit with this in the way.. My Previous RR's!
