Perhaps you're right. I just wished it somehow had more 'presence'. I want to like it, and it is growing on me, but only slowly. I'm sure it's a fine car though. |

Same floorpan still which is basically a VW Phaeton. Finished by Bentley means adding a bespoke Bentley branded engine cover on the Audi engine. Great car for sure but not my idea of a proper Bentley. |

The torque and HP outputs are entirely different for the Bentley versions of the V8 engine to any other VW group application. The engines are finished and tuned in Crewe.

This was a great thread about the differences between the L322 and L405 by someone who's been a long term owner of both, and now it's gone way off about Phaeton's. |

Agree Stan and CSK, need to move this to the Full Fat Bentley website. BTW, good write up CSK, yet to be convinced to switch, but the L405 is kinda growing on me (not literally!) SDV8 AB MY 2019
