06-09my you can only have both, cornering & adaptive or nowt!

So, if yours have the cornering bulbs fitted then you should have AFS

question craig, if you have a 2010/12 facelift done ,do you loose the AFS? ... - .- -.

yes that's correct headlamps rise up when switched on

^^ I've been advised that even with facelifted AFS headlights, they don't work on an earlier car Stan. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

it appears theres a comm problem between the old ecu and the newer afs lights.. ... - .- -.

if you have that neil then you should have afs according to the WM,

...so mine is either OFF or duff? I must investigate

i only ever had one problem with mine and that was after i took the headlight unit out but even then i had an error come up on the dash as i hadnt fully pushed the headlight plug in..

curious to know whether you have them or not and why they dont work if you have.. ... - .- -.

I don't think you have AFS headlamps... I think all 06> have electronic levelling but only VSE's and AB's had AFS as standard...

So, my guess is you have a Vogue? Without cornering bulbs?

I would have expected an error on the dash if the fuse had one, since the criss-cross light pattern is when the ECU checks the position of the headlights. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Yes Stan, you loose it as 09> Headlamp AFS are LIN BUS pre 09my are CAN BUS and never the twain shall meet!
