You need the fob to start it........................................... then you can drive off and leaving the fob behind and the car will keep running until you stop it by pressing the start button again and then you need the fob again! The Keycard on 2010 RRS is the same except that it cleverly locks and unlocks the car as you approach without having to press any plipper buttons................... 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Stornoway Grey

Just heard this afternoon that the sorry remains of my car have been found.
Good news is I will not be getting it back as it is minus engine, gearbox, axles and interior.
There is a mobile phone in it though which is not mine, so maybe someone will be caught and told not to be a naughty boy and sent on holiday to make him see the error of his ways!!
CYNICAL ME???? If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem!!

Bruce, now your fight really begins - to get the proper value out of the insurers and not the scrap value. Good luck mate hope it all turns out OK in the end, at least you won't be getting a thrashed and knackered RR back. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Thanks! I do however have the luxury of a broker that has served me and my businees witout compare for nearly 20 years.
I trust that they will fight to get the right deal, they have always steered me away from cheap companies and made sure that cover is reputable and comprehensive.
I am assured I will have a figure tomorrow.
I have learned one lesson above all others.
In life you get what you pay for! If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem!!

Thumbs Up I learned this lesson a while ago too, but also that the most expensive option isn't always the best! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
