Have to say, I think I'd now be taking advice from Trading Standards or a solicitor - it just feels like you are moving from one problem to the next - its just not good enough. |

Mines also wearing incredibly thin at the moment it beggars belief that this wasn't noticed whilst it was in there for 4 days |

If I were you, I would definitely be looking for much more than just "putting it right".

Just spoken to Ryan at LR Customer Services to voice my disbelief at the fact the ff went in with a broken belt and an oil leak only to be told all was fixed 5 days later, but within half an hour I have oil leaking onto the drive.I also spoke to the service manager at my dealers and he was pretty sure the oil leak was not connected to what work they had carried out and that the mechanics bay is spotless and he would have noticed an oil leak ...this has just caused a BIG inconvenience for me as we were supposed to be visiting friends and relatives around the country this week and enjoying my driving. He has said he will look into what LR can do as a gesture of goodwill ...but all I really want is my new(to me) Range Rover |

Feel for you, but it'll get sorted and then you'll have a wonderful car.

NFW - no way! I just recently posted this on another board: I have managed (or owned) several car repair facilities and in my experience in cases such as this, there are NO coincidences. If you bring a vehicle to a garage to have something repaired and afterwards it suddenly has another problem, it was caused during (or by) the work performed. No exceptions! Even if one of the LEDs in a taillight stopped working it would be related. And to call this a coincidence... whadda JOKE! Guys like that make life hard for the honest people. RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |
