Some early Terrain Response cars had the older style BMW keys but shouldn't show up in an 08 car , one hint to look for was the genuine 08 cars changed from symbols to words on the screen buttons i,e radio , navigation e,t,c

Sounds like you've an after sales key there, bud. As Stan said the early keys have 3 buttons, and only 1 battery, 1 big oval button, which when new reads Land Rover, but they seem to melt with age |

I was going to say that your locking system is from the dark ages, BUT, in light of all the later cars that are getting nicked, with out the key, presumably with the aid of an RF scanner and a computer, maybe you have a safe FFRR |

New Batteries fitted today 2016 x2 in each remote they now work at 8' and not the 2' as they did work on, and like your self i prob have a good anti theft key system now, i am now going to find out where and who this FFRR was originally desting for. |

No its a ffrr supercharged with 6 speed auto box, running on LPG, emissions so low it failed the MOT and had to be run on petrol to satisfy the MOT machine http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_rolling.gif , lol, it has all the bells and whistles apart from remote cabin heater. |

Was only thinking that it might be a Police spec thing, and as far as I'm aware they only used special factory built manual cars.. it will probably turn out to be a demolition expert spec car, no RF to set anything off prematurely |

miggit , there never was a manual L322 , all police cars were automatics . Some P38's came as a manual .
